Frequently Asked
Questions

Do you accept insurance?

We are a private-pay practice and do not accept insurance. Some insurance plans offer out-of-network reimbursement, which means you may be eligible for partial reimbursement depending on your coverage. We provide the documentation needed for you to submit to your insurance provider and are happy to guide you in understanding what questions to ask about your benefits.

Are sessions online or in person?

We provide therapy in Pennsylvania through secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth. Virtual sessions offer flexibility and accessibility while maintaining the structure, clinical depth, and confidentiality of in-person care. Our work remains focused, collaborative, and tailored to your goals—whether you are meeting from home or another private setting.

how long are therapy sessions?

Intake/diagnostic evaluation: 60 minutes

Individual therapy sessions: 45-55 minutes

Couples and family sessions: 50-55 minutes

How much does therapy cost?

Our fees vary depending on the type of service provided. We are a private-pay practice and will review current rates during your consultation so you can make an informed decision. If your insurance offers out-of-network benefits, reimbursement may reduce your overall cost.

What can I expect in the first session?

The initial session focuses on understanding your goals, history, and current concerns. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, clarify priorities, and begin identifying patterns that may be impacting your well-being. This session also allows you to experience our approach and determine whether the fit feels right.

How do I know if we're a good fit?

A consultation allows you to ask questions about our clinical approach, areas of specialization, and therapeutic style. We encourage clients to choose a therapist who feels aligned both clinically and personally, as fit is one of the strongest predictors of meaningful progress.

Still have questions?

Choosing a therapist is an important decision. A consultation gives you the opportunity to learn more about how we work, discuss your goals, and explore whether our approach feels aligned with what you’re looking for. We’re happy to answer your questions so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
